Latasha & Mike are an incredibly cute couple who met at work 10 years ago. They were friends for 7 before they started dating 3 years ago. They came to me via a referral from the lovely and very talented Deanna Tat at Chic Ambiance Events. They chose the Wilshire Ebell as the location of their wedding. I love the Wilshire Ebell, and Latasha and Mike were so much fun to work with, so I had a great time with the two of them on their Wedding Day.
Latasha arrived at the Ebell to get ready with her bridesmaids and Mike got ready seperately with his groomsmen. They planned on seeing each other before the ceremony for pictures, and when they saw each other for the first time, dressed and ready to get married, it was really emotional and sweet....
Latasha had a gorgeous gown by San Patrick, and wonderful flowers by Shirvan Design. Yana Beauty Studio did an amazing job with her hair and makeup, and Crown Limo LA got them to the Ebell on time!
The Ebell isn't a huge venue, but there are a ton of great places to shoot both inside and outside the property, and it's always fun to find new unique spots to use. We moved around and got some great shots of both of them individually, when they saw each other for the first time, and together around the Ebell property... Soon it was time to get ready for the Ceremony!!
The Ceremony was beautiful in the old world Theatre of the Ebell. The dark woods and carved ceiling, chandeliers, and iron work create an intimate atmosphere that is totally unique to the Ebell... After the Ceremony the room was turned around and the party was on!!! Dean Henderson of Royal Entertainment spun music all night and kept the party rolling....
