 Debbie & Colter were married on October 22nd, 2011 at Aliso Creek Inn in Laguna Beach, Ca. I had just moved down to Laguna Beach, and their wedding was no more than a mile from my house. It was perfect! Aliso Creek Inn is a Golf Course Country Club nestled in the hills off of Pacific Coast Highway. It is associated with the Montage Hotel which is across the street.

 Debbie & Colter had an amazing wedding, with lots of help from Colter's mom Milda of Soiree Atelier Events out of Miami, Florida. She worked with Archive Vintage Rentals to create a unique setting and provide amazing furniture throughout the property...

 We had a blast taking full advantage of all the myriad locations that Aliso Creek Inn had to offer...

Dee Dee & Todd were married on a perfect Saturday, May 26th, 2012 in Pasadena, Ca. The day started and ended at The Langham Hotel and their wedding Ceremony was at the Holy Family Catholic Church.

I got a call from Ankur's brother a few weeks before their wedding date inquiring about my services. The referral came from a past Indian Wedding bride who's wedding I'd shot about a year prior. Fortunately I was available that weekend, because their wedding took place over both Saturday and Sunday...

 Saturday started at the Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, CA. near Santa Barbara. It is a beautiful resort nestled in the mountains of Southern California about an hour east of the coast. Ankur & Yuka had two ceremonies that day, one a traditional "Western" Ceremony, officiated by Ankur's brother, and the other a traditional Hindu Indian Ceremony that followed shortly thereafter....

Dee Dee & Todd are getting married in May. They are an adorable couple who met at Chapman University. We started their Engagement Sitting there, and then went to Disneyland for the rest of the day. It was so fun playing with them and running around the park, where they had an inside hook-up, allowing us access to areas and rides which were closed... Check out the pictures:

Leili & Hooman and I all had a blast running around Venice on a particularly nice Wednesday afternoon in July. We started at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica and sat in the lobby, had a cocktail and talked and let the sun go down a little. Then we drove over to the Venice Canals and walked around, taking advantage of the water, ducks, bridges, homes, and colorful foliage...

As the sun got lower we ran over to the beach for some sunset pictures by the water, making it just in time to see the sun dip into the ocean....

  So-Young & Sung booked their Engagement Sitting date well in advance, it being the only day that would be good for both of them and their work/ travel schedules. Serena had a magnificent Bat Mitzvah with over 400 guests in attendance the night of November 14, 2009. She read from the Torah and sang beautifully at Sinai Temple at her Service, and everyone partied and danced late into the night at Spago in Beverly Hills, CA. The amazing decor, flowers, and party design were pulled off flawlessly by the inimitable Keven Lee at LA Premier. And a huge thank you to Remy at LA Premier for her magical party planning and coordination which made the whole night a rousing success.

Latasha & Mike are an incredibly cute couple who met at work 10 years ago. They were friends for 7 before they started dating 3 years ago. They came to me via a referral from the lovely and very talented Deanna Tat at Chic Ambiance Events. They chose the Wilshire Ebell as the location of their wedding. Sonia and Will live and go to school in Eugene, OR.

They are both working artists and live in an amazingly beautiful part of the country. I was excited to fly up there to spend the day with them and do their ES shoot.

We went to a heavily wooded park near their house and tromped thru the forest taking pictures. We found some really cool spots and it was a real change of venue and exciting for me.
